Quotes

Michael J. Fox’s description of filming Family Ties Vacation:

Five, fun-filled, wacky weeks with 6:00 a.m. calls. The story is that Alex wins a summer scholarship to Oxford and the family sees it as an opportunity for a vacation in England. But it ends up with a foreign intrigue and we’re all chased by the KGB, Interpol and everybody else. It’s quite different for us. It is more of a romp, a Hitchcockian farce. At Oxford Alex becomes a victim of his arrogance. He ends up rooming with a Lord. The Lord and his friends all turn on Alex and make his life difficult until they become friends
