Our three heroes from Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey are happy and healthy with their family. When the family decides to take a camping trip to Canada, they crate up the pets planning to include them on their vacation which begins with a plane ride. Not understanding what’s going on, Chance decides that he doesn’t want to be in the crate and he and his pals escape on the airport runway. They make their way to San Francisco, trying to find their way home with the help of a gang of city dogs who don’t trust strangers of any kind – be it canine, feline or human.
