| This
disk is probably the most dis-organized disk I have ever seen. Instead
of a main menu to choose what you want to do, there are arrows so
that you have to cycle through everything if you happen to want
to read Treat Williams filmography.
The
filmographies themselves are extremely skimpy and I'd almost call
it a crime that they ignored Tantoo Cardinal, the only person
in the film to win any kind of award for this movie. Two of the
three filmographies are for people who appeared in the film for
less than 10 minutes each.
The
print quality itself is, as stated above, okay. It is defintely
better than what would be found on VHS but it is not as good as
it could be, considering that the film is not very old. It is
really a shame because some of the scenery in this film is very
beautiful. However, there were no scratches or other visible flaws
other than the print being just a little soft.
If
you have not seen this movie or have shied away from it, I would
recommend giving it at least one chance. Tantoo Cardinal's performance
is worth at least one viewing and Rip Torn is also quite good.
