WEBMASTER'S
REVIEW :: WARNING -- POSSIBLE SPOILERS
While
not nearly as impressive as the Stuart Little DVD, the Stuart Little
2 DVD provides plenty of extra features for your buck. Many of the
features are aimed at children, but there are several informative
featurettes on what it takes to make a film like Stuart Little 2.
The
print is beautiful which makes this fairy-tale version of New
York even more pleasant to behold. The animation in this film
is even better than the first and the birds are amazingly realistic.
Well...except for the fact that they can talk.
Even
though this film didn't do well at the box office, I enjoyed it
quite a bit. The only disapointment for me was the very small
part of Monty. I think Stuart Little Part 3 should be all about
Monty stalking Stuart and getting in all sorts of messes. Or better
yet, give him his own movie. It can be called 'Why Meatloaf Makes
Me Gassy."
